In most Minecraft servers, having a home means finding a piece of land, building a house, and calling it yours. In GolliCRAFT, residential life is something much bigger.

GolliCRAFT is a city economy and roleplay server where players can establish an actual place in the community. From renting an affordable apartment to purchasing a luxury penthouse, becoming a landlord, or building a real estate business, the residential experience gives players another reason to make the city their home.

With a player-driven property market, distinct residential neighborhoods, customizable interiors, and an economy that connects property ownership with the wider city, GolliCRAFT offers something that goes beyond traditional Minecraft housing.

It's not just about owning a house. It's about building a life in the city.

Find Your Place in the City

Finding somewhere to live in GolliCRAFT is straightforward. Residential properties throughout the world are listed for sale or rent, and players can interact with the property's listing sign, typically located near the front sidewalk or at the back of the building, to view its availability and secure the property.

There is no single fixed price for housing. Property owners set their own prices, meaning apartments and houses can vary considerably depending on their location, size, condition, and the owner's expectations.

Some properties are available through recurring rental arrangements, while others may be listed with different payment terms or offered for outright purchase. This creates a genuine player-driven housing market where tenants can compare properties and owners can compete for residents.

Whether you're looking for a modest apartment, a suburban family home, or an expensive penthouse overlooking the city, there is a place for practically every budget and lifestyle.

Make Your House a Home

Moving into a property is only the beginning. GolliCRAFT allows players to furnish and personalize their residential spaces, turning an otherwise empty apartment or house into something that reflects their personality.

Some properties come fully furnished, while others are handed over completely empty, leaving the interior design entirely up to the new occupant.

Furniture and decorative items can be purchased from shops throughout the world, or players can build and create their own interiors. Many residents take pride in designing their homes, while others prefer hiring fellow players to handle the decorating and renovation work.

And your home isn't just a private building that nobody gets to see.

Players can invite friends and family inside, grant permissions to trusted visitors, and create their own private gathering spaces. Properties have protected regions, meaning visitors can enjoy the home without being able to modify or destroy its interior without the appropriate permissions.

Your home stays yours, too. Properties do not automatically reset when you leave. However, if you do not rejoin GolliCRAFT within 365 days, your property can be relisted on the market.

Become a Landlord, Investor, or Real Estate Agent

One of the most interesting aspects of GolliCRAFT's residential economy is that players aren't limited to being tenants.

You can become a property owner, purchase residential buildings, rent them to other players, or sell them when you're ready to move on. Some properties can even be divided into smaller subregions, allowing owners to manage and offer different portions of their buildings independently.

There is also an emerging player-driven real estate industry.

Players can establish themselves as real estate agents, connect buyers with sellers, advertise available properties, negotiate deals, and broker transactions between residents. There isn't necessarily a formal career path required to get started. Building connections, developing a reputation, and finding people the right property are all part of the experience.

Some players take a particularly entrepreneurial approach. Friends will purchase a property together, renovate it, improve its value, and eventually sell it, splitting the profits between themselves.

Property ownership also comes with economic responsibilities. Owned properties contribute to their respective city economies, and property taxes are collected according to the rates established by the elected government. This means local politics can directly influence the cost of owning real estate.

Players can also own multiple properties, although certain neighborhoods impose limits on residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural ownership. The standard property allowance is 12 properties across the world, with optional property slot upgrades available for players who want to expand their portfolios.

A City of Different Neighborhoods

Not every neighborhood in GolliCRAFT is designed for the same lifestyle. Just like a real city, different districts have their own character, property values, architectural styles, and standards of living.

South Stick-Mon alone offers a wide range of residential environments, from inexpensive starter homes to prestigious luxury real estate.

Affordable Living

Dexter Basin

For players looking to enter the property market without spending a fortune, Dexter Basin is one of the more affordable residential neighborhoods in South Stick-Mon.

Small, single-story homes can start at just $800, making it an accessible option for residents looking to establish themselves in the city.

Budget Motels and Homeless Shelters

Not everyone arrives in GolliCRAFT with enough money to purchase a home.

The city has homeless shelters that provide free common accommodation and food, unless the elected government introduces different policies.

There are also budget-friendly motels for residents who need temporary accommodation. In Hawthorn Grove, Motel Ocho offers stays of seven days for just $100.

These options give new residents somewhere to stay while they earn money, explore the city, and work toward securing permanent housing.

Middle-Class Neighborhoods

Hawthorn Grove

A small, budget-friendly middle-class neighborhood, Hawthorn Grove offers modest residential properties and an approachable entry point into suburban living.

Small, single-story houses have a median price of approximately $3,000, making it a popular option for residents who want a comfortable home without entering the more expensive property markets.

Grapeseed, Middle Park, and Middle Park West

These neighborhoods offer similar middle-class residential opportunities, providing additional options for players looking to establish themselves in South Stick-Mon.

Upper-Middle-Class Living

Rosemont

For residents looking for something more established, Rosemont offers an upper-middle-class suburban environment.

Wood-frame houses that require development average around $6,000, while fully renovated homes typically range between $8,000 and $12,000.

It's a neighborhood where property improvements and renovation can make a considerable difference in the value of a home.

Explore the Rest of South Stick-Mon

South Stick-Mon has plenty of additional residential districts worth exploring.

From the Mediterranean-inspired architecture of Little Sea-Sally to the urban environment of Downtown, the historic streets, the developing skyline of East View, and the residential communities of Bricktown, Chanroo Town, Ivorybrooks, Timberwalk, and Central View, each area offers a different atmosphere.

Jefferson also offers residential opportunities within a more industrially oriented district.

Players aren't restricted to South Stick-Mon, either. Residential properties can be purchased throughout Dreamdale, North Stick-Mon, Essex, and Smokeport, opening up even more possibilities for finding the right home.

Luxury Real Estate

Gollywood

At the top of GolliCRAFT's residential property market is Gollywood.

world's most expensive residential real estate.

Here, players can find luxurious mansions, upscale apartment buildings, and prestigious penthouses.

It's a destination for residents who want to experience the higher end of city living and establish themselves in one of GolliCRAFT's most prestigious communities.

More Than Just a Place to Sleep

A home in GolliCRAFT can become the center of a player's social life.

Residents regularly open their doors to friends, family, and the wider community, hosting birthday celebrations, Halloween parties, Christmas gatherings, housewarming barbecues, wedding receptions, and even sleepovers.

Some of the most memorable experiences in the city happen inside privately owned homes rather than at public attractions.

Friends can move in together, purchase properties as a group, renovate houses, and share the experience of creating something of their own. Others use their homes as gathering places for their communities, building friendships and creating traditions along the way.

These experiences help make residential life feel like an actual part of the city rather than simply another server feature.

Building a City That Feels Real

Residential ownership in GolliCRAFT also comes with an important responsibility: respecting the character and zoning of the city.

Different districts have different building standards, and properties are designated for specific purposes, including residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural use.

You cannot simply build a luxury apartment complex in the middle of a neighborhood of modest bungalows, or construct an out-of-place shack in an exclusive luxury district.

Each property has its own building height limit and zoning designation. Players can inspect these restrictions by interacting with the property's sale or rental sign, which is generally located along the roadside or around the rear perimeter of the property.

These rules help preserve the architectural identity of neighborhoods and ensure that development remains consistent with the surrounding city.

Your Next Chapter Starts at Home

GolliCRAFT is designed to give players more than businesses to operate, missions to complete, and money to earn. It gives them somewhere to belong.

You can arrive in the city with very little, spend a few nights in a budget motel, work your way toward your first apartment, eventually purchase a house, and perhaps one day become a landlord with an entire real estate portfolio.

You can decorate your home, invite your friends over, build a business around property sales, or simply enjoy being part of a neighborhood.

Whether you're interested in affordable housing, suburban living, real estate investment, or luxury mansions, GolliCRAFT offers an opportunity to create your own residential experience.

Because in GolliCRAFT, you're not just playing in a city. You're living in one.
